Where Sweet Meets Street: Rolling Rack Boutique
Shopping in Sedona just got a whole lot more fun.
Rolling Rack Boutique, the award-winning women’s apparel destination that has been turning heads across Arizona since 2018, has called Sedona Center home for nearly two years…and it’s quickly becoming one of Uptown’s most talked-about stops.
Owner Susie Diamond started the brand with a vision as bold as the clothes on the racks. “I never loved the idea that we, as women, had to have one personality or dress one certain way,” she says.
That philosophy became the heart of Rolling Rack’s trademarked tagline, “Where Sweet Meets Street,” a nod to the store’s eclectic mix of everything from flirty pink dresses and wedding-worthy looks to sassy graphic tees that make a statement the moment you walk in the door.
“You’re gonna come in here and find your sweetest looks for church or a wedding, or you’re gonna find your street sassy side,” Diamond says. “We’ve got you covered with both.”
A Business Born from Purpose
Diamond’s path to entrepreneurship is as inspiring as the brand itself. After her father was diagnosed with cancer, the two shared deep conversations about life, dreams and what really matters.
Shortly after he passed, she left her banking career at the age of 40 and went all in on Rolling Rack. The rest, as they say, is history—including a mobile boutique nicknamed Beverly Hills on Wheels, a refurbished U-Haul with remote French doors and a foldout patio that earned serious media buzz and led to the brand’s first brick-and-mortar in Old Town Scottsdale. (The mobile boutique lives on, by the way. Rolling Rack recently launched Mobile Boutique 2.0 aboard a refurbished Alice Cooper tour bus.)
What Makes the Sedona Store Special
The Sedona location has its own distinct identity. Diamond listened closely to what visitors were asking for and created something you won’t find anywhere else: Rolling Rack’s bestselling graphic tees reimagined with a Sedona twist. Think fan favorites like “I Could Be Meaner” with “Sedona, Arizona” printed underneath.
“I never wanted to be the typical tourist shop,” Diamond says, “so we took our graphics and just started adding ‘Sedona, Arizona’ to everything. I was surprised at how quickly and how popular those were.”
The store also carries locally made products including candles from Desert Blossom and jewelry from Lucky Star Jewelry out of Scottsdale, alongside recognizable names like Free People—a thoughtful mix of independent makers and established brands.
Hats Off to a Great Idea
And then there’s the Custom Trucker Hat Bar, Rolling Rack’s signature experience that Diamond is especially proud of.
“A lot of people were coming out with the customized western cowboy hat, but we specialize in the trucker because I felt like that fits more along with our personality,” she says. “We have a lot of patches that match our graphic T-shirts. It’s definitely something that’s super trendy right now and it just makes people happy and smile.”
Shoppers can personalize their own hat on the spot, and it’s a hit with everyone, especially bachelorette parties, a major part of the Sedona clientele. Rolling Rack offers private after-hours shopping events and trucker hat parties for groups, complete with bachelorette merch, games, and all the fun extras for a girls’ weekend in Sedona.
At the end of the day, Diamond’s goal is simple. “As long as they’re laughing,” she says, “that just feeds my soul.”
